Carnegie Hall Performance @ Carnegie Hall, New York City, New York
I had the opportunity to play at the historic Carnegie Hall. It felt surreal to be at such a famous venue and have my school ensemble listed among the performers. We played traditional marches such as “Entry March of the Boyares” as well as fun pieces like “La Madre de los Gatos.” Playing on the huge stage with a large audience of seats lining the area is a memory I will never forget.
Langley Band Winter Concert @ Langley High School, McLean, Virginia
The winter concert is the first band concert of the year. It is held early in the school year and it’s a challenge to learn all of the pieces on time. I love the challenge of learning and touching up the pieces to the best of my ability under a time crunch.
Langley Band Spring Concert @ Langley High School, McLean, Virginia
The spring concert is the last band performance of the year. I performed several solos within the piece “Original Suite” by Gordon Jacob. It is incredibly gratifying to reflect on the improvement from very first performance of the year.
